Gold stars Prithviraj, Nayantara, Baburaj and many many many actors. Gold is directed, edited by Alphonse Puthren ,his last film was Premam (7 years back). Story of Gold is pretty simple, actually there is no story only a situation. One day Joshi (Prithviraj) and his mother (Mallika Sukumaran) finds that some one has parked a pick up van in front of their house, due to which they are unable to get their new car inside their compound . The Van contains lot of small size speakers. Now who has parked the van and what's inside the speaker boxes forms the rest of the movie. Only good thing about this movie is Prithviraj, Baburaj, Chemban Vinod and the scene between Vinay fort & Sharat Saxena. To be frank this is a very boring film, it keeps on dragging for no reason. This film really tests the patience of viewers. Alphonse Puthren has directed and edited the film. When the director is also the editor, they may not feel like cutting any scenes they have shot.
